You Screamed Into My Deafness - Poem (Sarah Duggan)

You screamed into My deafness
You answered the unspoken cry
You wiped away the uncryed tears
You took my reasons to die.
You fixed which was silently broken
You healed the hidden scars
You erased the covered pain
And woke the empty,  unopened arms

You took my tireing load
You gave me strength again
You filled me up entirely
You removed my choking chain

You helped me to forgive
You poured your blood inside
You washed me through and through

And to myself I died

How could I but do anything except for Worship you?
And scream at the top of my lungs

I LOVE YOU  ,

I LOVE YOU,

I

LOVE

YOU,?

For there is nothing I could offer
Except myself to you
Because you first reached out your arms and to them I flew

You screamed into that silence
Come here and You will see
I have a gift right here for you
It will set you free.

The gift is in my cleansing blood
Just taste the cup and see
My love and purity live inside

Come Drink it and be free.

Your gift is of pure mercy
Setting captives free
And lies in only one remedy

The son,

The cross

Free

I could not save myself
I could have never been free
I could have held on to my "goodness" forever
And live a lifeless eternity,

Wrapped in the fires of burning flesh
The flesh attached to me
Never to die,never be free
Silent screams externally

I had to surrender
You gave me eyes to see
That I was a depraved, filthy rag
This is all I would ever be
No good works could save me

I didnt have the key

Untill I heard That scream
And your endless mercy
Piercing through my soul
Screaming Come to me

 be free

I now know what its like
To truly taste and see
The truth is in your gift

The Saviour

Setting captives free

All of them will come to you
The ones who will be set free
I am so grateful to be your child,
grabbed by you,
for eternity

In the arms of my father
In a palm , securely,
Where you will wipe away my tears
And forever Ill be free.

Thank You

Thank you

Thank You

Father, I thank Thee
Thank you for the cross of christ

Your love,
Your Mercy,

the key.

Live inside this vessel
For all eternity

Take all of my being

And do what you will with me.
