"The Singular Grand Juror" by Librae Jackson, Deacon

I ask you to listen very carefully, and if you can, to consider prayerfully,
these words that I’m prepared to speak.
They’re some things that concern the soul: that part of you which is eternal.
Of all the things that we can learn and know,
what better education, than to be instructed by God, the way of salvation?
Many heads are misled by foul navigation; 
misinformed by disingenuous sources of information.

In these formative years, our resources should be clear and reliable.

The moment is near, when you and I will go

off into eternity.

So why, onto lies, should we hold, or live in denial,

while we scoff at eternal things? 

 
God now offers His terms of peace:
Jesus Christ came to earth to be
the Conduit, through which, it's possible for wicked people to get God's mercy.

Believe the Gospel.

Turn & flee from your sins, unto Him,
and you'll be saved, most certainly.
 
Or is it that you don't have this particular burden to ease,
because you now stand perfectly?
Is it that, unto you, sin is no disease? 
Do you live in equity, with no iniquity, 
and thus, there's no need, so you think, for such a Remedy?
 
The condition of your soul says 
that you should get a more proficient diagnosis,
before you end up dying in your own sins,
with no sufficient atonement.
 
Agree right now with the word of God, 
that you're as bad as you are,
and get forgiveness for your sinfulness, 
prior to your stand before

Him, who is 
the Singular Grand Juror.

He's the Singular Grand Juror.

When He comes to settle scores,
there isn't any human who can endure.

Who can stick around, and be found without sin on their account?

Will your bad deeds, by your good deeds, be blotted out?

Don't let your own merits be what you tout. You'll be spotted out, no doubt.

There's nothing in ourselves that can keep us out of Hell, no how.
Guilt is still guilt, no matter the amount,

Spilled milk can't be returned unto the spout.

Here's what I'm talking about:

 

We've all done things worthy of Him punishing.

The only way for us to be clean, is to come clean,

confessing that we're utterly weak, and that, truly, we can contribute nothing, unto the King.

 

A Holy God won't be bought. 
Nor will the favor 
of our offended Creator 
be paid for.

Least of all, not from people, who've got only evil in our fallen natures.  

We need a Mediator;

a Redeemer; a Savior.
To be this is what The Lord Jesus came for.

He's The Singular Grand Juror
There's never been a man purer.
So, concerning righteousness, Christ is 
the Standard, for sure.
But He is able to succor and secure
all manner of corrupt men, who're 
cleansed from their sin by simply trusting Him.
He came to save sinners - even the most disgusting of them.
Indeed, of our evil, we must repent.
And even this is something He gives, 
because of this fact that for us, He underwent judgment.

So take the focus from yourself. Look up to Him.
Come to Him, if you want to live,
and stand before His Holy Bar of Justice, as un-condemned.
Simply trust His Blood to give

enough satisfaction to God, for His wrath to have been 

utterly quenched.

Instead of awaiting the results of a deliberation, that'll end in a day that's fateful, 

today, may you, take hold of this great hope,

and in faith, give Him praise for the liberation of your soul!
