“Blessed Hope”! (Titus 2:11-15)

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the Great God and our Savior Jesus Christ” (vs11-13).

Live in hope before God; live as SOMEONE that’s obtained mercy with future grace coming (1 Pet 1:3-5); live as the inheritor of all things in Christ, with your conscience pure and your hope ENORMOUS, and you’ll have strength to prevail. You cannot be holy, if you need holiness to be saved; you must be HOLY in conduct because you’re saved already, and the more FULLY you believe in your reward… the more you and I see that we have ALL things in Christ ETERNALLY and secure… the MORE power, by faith, that comes to us and ENABLES us to obey God.  God works by faith, so the MORE the better, and the more FIRM our salvation is seen to be, the more fruitful you will be.  Condemnation is gone; receive it fully. Heaven is SURE to you; take it WHOLEHEARTEDLY, and you’ll live godly in this world, because HOPE is sanctifying, when it is true (1 John 3:3); it is HOPE in a heaven for people that God CLEANSES down here on earth - “Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people of his own, zealous of good works” (vs14).

* Any gospel that isn’t PURE in the blood of Christ unto PURENESS of conduct is NOT the gospel. We serve to HELP others see and love God; we don’t serve to earn what Christ already died to give, but we use the means that He’s appointed - preaching, prayer, and practice - to accomplish the end (salvation of sinners) that we want (2 Tim 2:10).  Make sure of your conduct; it is your new life.
