When I’m Weak, Then Am I Strong

“Therefore, I take pleasure in weaknesses, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong” (2 Cor 12:10)

When you’re utterly weak, then He is your strength. The Lord helps where I need it and when my strength is vanished. So, when I cannot obey and bring honor to God, when circumstances have me everything BUT thankful, then I know that I am truly strong, because the Lord will ENABLE me to obey by supernatural power. I won’t have FAITH mixed with flesh, but when the flesh is angry, then the faith will shine through bringing glory to God, obedience to me, and His Spirit’s work shall be visible, instead of my own.

Enter the pulpit with Christ. Pray through sluggishness, fears, and everything that keeps you from helping people. It has nothing to do with us and EVERYTHING to do with Christ and God’s glory, which is His command that we edify each other.
