“Salt” (Lev 2:13)

 “You shall season all your grain offerings with salt. You shall not let the salt of the covenant with your God be missing from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.” (Le 2:13 ESV)

Mark 9:49, “For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt”.

The wrath of God is against sin, and we REMEMBER this constantly, so that we deal with God in the mercy of Jesus Christ, knowing He is holy, and sins are PARDONED by sins being punished. 

I desire for us to enter into the heaviness of this topic and to feel the weight of PARDON, knowing forgiveness by the work of the Son.  Jesus Christ DIED a substitute, ruined sinners to reclaim.  We need not think justice is slack, but God is JUSTIFIED to give us Himself in Christ to the delight of our heart - “Delight yourself also in the Lord; and he shall give you the desires of your heart“ (Ps 37:4). We are wise to believe the work is FINISHED and to cleanse our minds from stains that say, “You cannot have”. No, if Jesus is the reason that God gives, and He is, then I can have ALL the riches of Christ, says justice, says God. 

You will not be saved without BOWING to Christ’s DEATH as enough for God to give you life; you will believe. Those who BELIEVE… who  don’t do, don’t deserve, and don’t earn… but those who merely believe… receive the inheritance according to your faith. Jesus said, “According to your faith be it unto you” (Matt 9:29).  You WILL walk with God, trusting Him to perform the deed by miraculous power that you’re justified to receive.
