“And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money changers, and the seats of them that sold doves… And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.”
We are sinners of the worst sort, and yet the Lord Jesus heals the sinner, while He rejects the self-righteous and the hypocrite. Anyone that comes to Christ or deals with God upon the basis of anything other than what Christ accomplished at the cross shall be damned. Yet, the VILEST sinner coming to Christ for BLOOD BOUGHT mercy shall be accepted of God, healed, and saved. They cried out, “Hosanna to the Son of David”, which is “Save now” to the Son of David, so that we LOOK to Him for deliverance (Matt 21:9). We look to Him to FULFILL His word, not because we DESERVE it, but because of His promise and blood. He is of power to do us good, though we are sinners, and we EXPECT and take it from His hands.
